What we need from you
A vector of the logo and the measurements of the place it goes. If there is no vector, a good photograph of the mark is enough: our designer prepares the artwork.
Heavier forms are cut
The base and the mark itself are cut on the CNC machine, and the moss is then laid into the cut shape. That is how all heavier faces and solid forms are made.
Thin forms are moulded
When a stroke is thin or a detail is precise, a cut will not hold. Then we make a 3D mould and fill it with moss. The bird in the mark of the Centre for Protection and Research of Birds was made that way.
Why the mark looks raised
First we cut the shape of the base, then the figure, then we glue the figure onto the base. That is why the mark stands above the wall and casts its own shadow, and that is what reads as a 3D effect in a photograph.
Colour
Reindeer moss takes colour, so the mark can be in yours rather than in a default green. We choose the colour with a sample in hand, because it cannot be judged on a screen.
