Reindeer moss
soft, open, in colour
The softest and the most willing to be shaped. It takes colour, which is why logos, maps and lettering are made from it. The base of most of our walls.

Home · Moss
Each has its own character and its own job. We combine them for the room, for the light that falls on the wall, and for what the wall has to say.

relief, shadow, depth
Rounded cushions of different heights give the wall a third dimension. It looks best under directed light, when the shadows start to move.
natural shades
calm surface, large formats
Dense and flat, like a meadow seen from above. For large surfaces, the background behind lettering, and rooms that want calm rather than texture.
natural shades
fine, dense, deep green
Finer and denser than reindeer moss, in tight tufts that sit next to one another without a seam. Its natural shade is a deep green, and it also takes colour, so it works where a wall has to be calm and full at the same time.

Moss
What follows is not a palette but photographs. Each square is a crop from a photograph of our own moss, enlarged, because the colour of moss cannot be judged from a field of colour.

The samples are crops from photographs of moss in our workshop, taken in daylight. Colour on a screen also depends on the screen, so for a serious project we send a box of real samples.
Send a photograph of the wall. We propose the kind and the colours, at no charge, and explain why those.
Care and questions
Real moss that has gone through a preservation process, so it keeps its look and softness without water or light. It is more durable and easier to keep, which makes it the right choice for indoor spaces.
From 7 to 10 years, kept properly. Like any natural material it depends on the room it lives in: away from direct sun and away from the draught of an air conditioner.
We give 2 years of warranty on the quality of the moss itself. It does not cover physical damage. On top of that, we service the installation for 2 years after it goes up.
No watering, no misting, no trimming. Take the dust off now and then with a soft brush or a gentle stream of cool air. For the first 2 years we come by ourselves, to see how the wall is holding.
For offices, homes, restaurants and hotels. We avoid places with direct sun and high temperatures, because the colour fades faster there, and places where an air conditioner blows straight at the wall.
It absorbs sound, so rooms and restaurants are quieter, and it brings greenery where a living plant would not survive: a corridor, a basement, a room without windows. No soil, no insects, no allergens.
