The largest single factor. We have done five square metres and twenty, and that is not the same sum, neither in material nor in the time it takes to lay.
Which kinds are mixed
A wall in one kind and one colour is not the same as a wall where three kinds and several colours meet. A mix takes more material and considerably more time, because the transitions between fields are laid by hand.
Whether there is a motif
A logo, a map or lettering means artwork, cutting and, when the motif is thin, building a 3D mould. That is work a plain wall does not carry.
Shape and frame
A rectangle is the simplest. A circle, an arch and a free shape want a different cut of the base. A frame in wood or metal is a separate item.
Why there is no price list on the site
Because it would be wrong. The price depends on what the client asks for, and two walls of the same size can differ for exactly the reasons above. Every enquiry gets a written offer, to your measurements and the kinds of moss you choose.
How to get a figure
Send a photograph of the wall and the width and height. We draw the concept at no charge, and the offer comes with it. If you would rather see for yourself first, the site has a tool where you lay out the wall yourself.
